A lot has happened since I last wrote. Blue Door is regularly at both the Clarksburg Farmer's Market, and the Harriston Farmer's Market. If you are in the area, please do stop by. I would love to meet you. Occasionally Blue Door is at the Keady Market, but I need to make more of a presence there. You will find links to all of these markets on the Facebook page.
I recently went to a soap-making class, and I can tell you that handmade soaps will be coming soon. Hopefully mid-August, provided that the curing goes well. Can you believe that it takes from 4-6 weeks for soap to cure, and sometimes even longer. The longer you leave it cure, the harder the soap. I thoroughly enjoyed the class, and am looking forward to setting my imagination free in creating these soaps for you.
Other products I am working on are baby massage oils, bath tea soaks, after-sun gel, and possibly a solid bug lotion stick. I realize that the summer is slipping away, and along with it the bugs, but a customer reminded me that hunting season was coming, so I should not worry about not getting it out for the summer.
Thanks for stopping by, and remember to share us with your friends and family. Until next time - Live, Laugh and Love. ;)
